Aphrodite’s Self Compassion Ritual Box is a limited ritual set created for moments when softness must be chosen deliberately. Each box is assembled by Selantris Velcryn as a small practice in emotional restoration, grounding, and intentional self-kindness. Only six boxes exist.

The ritual centers on the pairing of lepidolite and rose quartz, two minerals long associated with emotional balance and compassionate self-reflection. Lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica recognized for its soft lilac color and layered crystalline structure. It is traditionally used in contemplative mineral practice for its association with calm, emotional easing, and gentle transition. Each ritual box contains two natural pieces selected for color, structure, and presence.

A rose quartz stone accompanies the lepidolite as the heart of the ritual. Rose quartz is a pink variety of quartz composed of silicon dioxide and historically associated with compassion, reconciliation, and deliberate self-care. Within this ritual it acts as a quiet anchor for personal gentleness.

A corked ritual bottle prepared with mineral and botanical elements forms the symbolic center of the set. The bottle contains pink Himalayan sea salt, dried jasmine, lavender, tulsi (holy basil), bay leaf pieces, six rose buds, rose quartz chips, a piece of Selantris Velcryn dried orange, and a small piece of basil-seeded paper. The vessel is sealed with wax and finished with a gold seal, creating a keepsake object intended to remain after the ritual is complete.

A printed ritual card accompanies the box and guides the recipient through a simple self-compassion practice using the stones and ritual bottle.

Each set is presented inside a wooden keepsake box wrapped in tissue, ribbon, and protective paper fill.

A handwritten thank-you note on basil-seeded handmade paper is included. The paper can be planted after reading, allowing basil to grow as a living continuation of the ritual.
